Dragonboat National Competition.

During the June holiday, Adawiyah and Felicia joined the dragon-boat competition. We joined it as dragon-boat was short of manpower.

Since Adawiyah like water-sports, and she wanted somebody to follow her, Felicia followed her. We went for training punctually at Bedok reservoir.

We even got ourselves sunburns as Steffi was not there to give us some sunblock to apply on. Even though it was tiring, we really enjoyed ourselves.

We have learnt the skills for rowing a heavy boat, teamwork and also perseverance. Despite training hard, we managed to row over to the finishing line in last place.

At first, it was very depressing, but we got over it as we have tried our best as they are too good for us to overcome. We lost as we did not have much practise, compared to other schools who has dragon-boat as a CCA.
